Lee is a picturesque village and a bay two miles from Ilfracombe. Devon countryside borders three sides and the Bristol Channel the fourth. Chambercombe Manor is a unique and fascinating property known for its paranormal phenomena and it is steeped in mystery and unrivalled history dating back to the times of the Saxons.

Watermouth Castle is a family theme park with entertainments and attractions for all ages and Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park is the best wildlife park in the country, here you can get closer to the wildlife and swim with the sea lions. Nine miles from the country cottages of Lee is the National Trust property of Arlington Court, an intriguing house nestled in a wooded valley on the edge of Exmoor and housing a large collection of horse drawn carriages. Other attractions include Watersmeet, Marwood Hill Gardens, and Saint Anne's Chapel Heritage Centre in Barnstable, Tapeley Park and the Burton Art Gallery in Bideford.
