Goonhavern is a small village located just two miles east of Perranporth in North Cornwall. Goonhavern enjoys the same oceanic climate as nearby Perranporth. July and August are the warmest months, with average temperatures at 16.5°C but often much hotter. This is also the driest time of the year with only eight days of rain per month. December and January are the coldest and wettest months to visit, with temperatures falling to 3°C, and over half the days scheduled to be wet!
Goonhavern holiday cottages are a tantalising 282 miles from London. Take the M4 and M5 and A30 west for a pleasant four-hour journey by car. From the north, the village is only 164 miles from Bristol. Those who would rather fly will find air service to and from nearby Exeter International. Just 84 miles to the east, coming from the airport via the A30 takes travellers past Dartmoor National Park.
