The weather in Cardiff is one factor that makes it a popular holiday destination. Thanks to Cardiff’s proximity to the sea, the weather tends to remain milder than in other parts of the UK. In the summer, the average temperature remains around 20 degrees, with a few days in which it may get as high as 30 degrees. Travel to Cardiff

Getting to Cardiff is easy thanks to well serviced airports and a railway station. The closest airport is Cardiff International (CWL), just 15 km from the heart of Cardiff. Another option for travellers is to fly into Bristol International (BRS) which is 37 km from Cardiff. From the airport, you can choose to take a train to Cardiff Central Railway Station located in Central Square. There is taxi and coach service available to and in Cardiff as well.
