Summer is warm, lasting from June to September, with average temperatures peaking at around 25°C in July, the busiest tourist period. Switzerland's ski resorts open in mid-November and remain open until April. Winter temperatures can dip as low as -3°C in the mountains during the winter, but average temperatures are around 2°C during the coldest months.
