A trip to Lake Geneva will enable visitors to see the amazing Jet d’Eau, which is a fountain of water pumped 140 metres into the air. By the lake is Jardin Anglais with the famous flower clock. Museums here include the International Museum of the Reformation and the Natural History Museum. There are other towns and cities in the region with fantastic sights such as Carouge, which is noted for its nightlife, shops and restaurants.
The warmest months in the Canton of Geneva are July and August with an average maximum high temperature of 25 degrees centigrade. The lowest temperatures are in January and December when the average high temperatures are four degrees centigrade, with an average low of -2 degrees in January. Rainfall is quite consistent throughout the year but September is the wettest with an average of 99mm precipitation.
