Holidaymakers looking for a beautiful place to stay in the Caribbean with wonderful views need look no further than Labrolette Bay in St Lucia. This beautiful place is located on the north coast of the island and is a great location with many things to see and do. Labrolette Bay is close to some delightful sandy beaches to relax and enjoy the sun, the best of which is arguably Rodney Bay. The warm waters here are also good for swimming and diving. Plenty of other watersports are available in the area including surfing, windsurfing, water skiing and sailing.

The north of St Lucia has many fantastic places to visit including the world’s only drive through volcano at Soufriere and the world famous Pitons. At Rodney Bay film fans can climb aboard the Unicorn, which was a ship used in the Pirates of the Caribbean. A short trip across a causeway will take visitors to Pigeon Island, which has numerous forts and offers great views from the hills. The capital of St Lucia is Castries and this is just half an hour away by car. There are several interesting landmarks here including the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Fort Charlotte and the Government House. Nature lovers may like to visit the Union Nature Center, which has a small zoo and a hiking trail.
The temperature on the island remains fairly constant throughout the year with an average daytime high of 82-86 degrees Fahrenheit. The dry season is January to June with tropical rainstorms sometimes in the hurricane season between June and October. However, the rain normally quickly passes to be followed by sunny weather again.
Hewanorra International Airport (UVF) is about an hour’s drive from Labrolette Bay and has flights arriving from a few international airports. These include Frankfurt (FRA), London-Gatwick (LGW), Miami (MIA), New York (JFK) and Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) amongst other cities. Taxis are available from outside the airport building. Alto Auto Rental, Avis Autos, Budget, Cool Breeze, Hertz and Thrifty are car rental firms all represented at the airport.
