The warmest time of the year to visit the province of Segovia is generally July and August when the average high is 28 degrees centigrade. In the winter months the night time average temperatures are about 5 degrees centigrade but can drop to zero degrees. Rainfall during the years is fairly consistent but on average July and August sees the least amount of rain with around 21mm per month. May is generally the wettest month with an average of 60mm.
Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) is approximately an hour and 15 minute’s drive from the province capital city of Segovia and about 30 minutes by high speed train.
