The French city of Biarritz is only 50 kilometres (31 miles) to the east, or the popular Spanish city of Bilbao is about 100 kilometres (62 miles) to the west. Though cooler than Spain’s south, San Sebastian has a mild climate all year round. Summertime high temperatures are in the mid 20’s C, and both humidity and rainfall are low during the summer.
