Nature lovers should get to the heart of the wetlands of the Delta Ebro which is a real paradise for bird watchers.

It is only and hour and a half to two hours away by road, less by train, and the architecture, shops, restaurants and other attractions all live up to its reputation as a sophisticated city on the sea. Also, if you happen to visit during the winter, there is really exceptional skiing less than four hours away in Andorra.
