The North Coast of Jamaica is the most popular tourist orientated part of the island, where the most sought after villas and resorts can be found. Much of the attraction of taking a self catering Jamaican accommodation is the access to the much revered beaches which have made the island such a pinnacle of exotic holidays. Sunbathing and swimming will be a major part of every holiday in Jamaica, but the warm waters of the Caribbean offer so much more entertainment. Scuba diving and deep sea fishing are among the most exhilarating ways to get out into the sea, but there is some definite joy to be had from sailing or kayaking around the coastline, stopping off to walk, picnic or just rest on a secluded beach.

The Aquasol Theme Park, near Walter Fletcher Beach, is filled to bursting point with entertainment, from go-karting tracks to banana boating excursions, and from wave runners to parasailing meaning that children who may get bored with sunbathing, unbelievable scenery and rum have plenty to keep them occupied during their stay in a holiday rental villa in Jamaica.
Ocho Rios gains its name from the surprising number of picturesque waterfalls which surround the village. Set on a half moon shaped bay on the North Coast, Ocho Rios a beautiful resort with glorious beaches and excellent sporting facilities.
Montego Bay (MoBay) is the main tourist centre in Jamaica, and as a result is the most developed part of the island. All year round, the streets of Montego Bay are awash with colour and noise, and there are bronzed bodies soaking up the sun on Doctor’s Cave Beach, making it possible the most fun destination in Jamaica. Villas here allow you to enjoy some of the best nightlife Jamaica has to offer too, as well as the extensive shopping around the City Centre Plaza.
A small part of the joy of a Jamaican holiday is the fact you can almost guarantee glorious weather. Average temperatures are between 30°C and 32°C all year round, and rain is only likely to fall in May or October, and even then, there will not be much!
British Airways and Virgin Atlantic both provide direct flights fromLondonto Kingston International Airport (KIN), and there are short hop flights to Montego Bay (MBJ). Air Jamaica sometimes have flights direct fromLondonto Montego Bay, but these are not particularly regular.
