Anyone looking for a fantastic holiday in Italy just outside Rome should try the lovely town of Tiburtina. Located near the west coast of the country, this interesting place has many exciting things for holidaymakers to see and do. The Colosseum and the Vatican Museums are probably two of the most popular tourist attractions in the city.

Winters are generally mild with the coldest month being January when the average high is 13 degrees centigrade and the average low is just 3 degrees. Rome Ciampino Airport (CIA) is only 25 minutes drive from Tiburtina. Ryanair operates flights to Rome from numerous international airports including Brussels-South Charleroi (CRL), Dublin (DUB), Edinburgh (EDI), Eindhoven (EIN), Frankfurt-Hahn (HHN), London-Gatwick (LGW), Madrid (MAD) and Stockholm-Skavsta (NYO) amongst others. Auto Europa, Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Maggiore, Thrifty and Sixt are car rental firms located at the airport. There are also taxis available outside the terminal building.
