Elsewhere the Palazzo dei Melatino is an impressive medieval palace from the 1200s.
On holiday at a villa in Pescara you can expect a typical Mediterranean climate, which results in long, warm and dry summers, with temperatures rising above 30 degrees in July and August. Winters here are generally mild, but the inland mountain ranges can get snow.
