Holidaymakers looking to get away to a warm seaside resort on the west coast of Italy should try the lovely town of Ansedonia. This is a very scenic place that lies within the Tuscany region and offers many interesting things for holidaymakers to see and do. About 45 minutes away is the city of Grosseto, where holidaymakers can see its fine cathedral and churches as well as many other great buildings. A trip to the Italian capital city is very much recommended as it is just under a two hour drive. Here there are many impressive sights including the famous Colosseum, Vatican museums, churches, palaces, fountains and aqueducts. The warmest time of the year to visit this part of Italy is generally July and August when the average high temperature is approximately 30 degrees centigrade, while June and September hit a respectable 27 degrees centigrade as well. The average rainfall for one year is below 90mm with October often the wettest month.
