Nestled on the western coastline of the beautiful island of Bali is the peaceful village of Tumbak Bayuh. If you would like a holiday rental villa that offers tranquillity and is away from the throng of tourists, then Tumbak Bayuh is the perfect location for you. The emphasis is on relaxation in Tumbak Bayuh and is a wonderful way to find out more about the traditional way of life in a Balinese village.
A Tumbak Bayuh holiday focuses on rest and relaxation. Many of the holiday rental villas in the village offer stunning surroundings with beautiful views of the sea and countryside. There are three temples in Tumbak Bayuh which offer music and entertainment most evenings. Activities available in the immediate area include swimming, horse riding, sailing, surfing, snorkelling, cycling and mountain biking. Tumbak Bayuh is only 15 minutes away from golf facilities too.
Approximately 30 minutes to the east of Tumbak Bayuh is the busy capital city of Denpasar. You may pass through the city on your initial journey but it is worth going back to explore its sights and sounds more intensely. One item that should be on your itinerary is the Bali National Museum. The exhibits on display are housed in three beautiful Balinese buildings that were part of the former Jalan Wisnu Palace. There are a range of exhibits to be seen including items from the Neolithic period and an ancient royal throne.
Also worth a visit in Denpasar is the Pura Maospahit, one of the oldest and most important temples in the city. Of its features, the split gate that separates the two areas of the temple is one of the most interesting. The main entrance to the temple is usually only opened during festival times but there are other entrances at the side with narrow alleyways to be explored.
A Tumbak Bayuh holiday will offer the opportunity to experience warm weather, no matter what time of year you decide to visit. Bali has a tropical climate, with a dry season and a wet season. The temperature rarely fluctuates, with average daytime temperatures in the dry season (April to November) staying between 21°C and 33°C. The wet season runs from December to March and it is possible that you will see a few rain showers in Tumbak Bayuh during this period.
