Numerous waterports can be tried along the coast here such as swimming, windsurfing, waterskiing and paragliding. Holidaymakers can also taking sailing excursions around the island or enjoy a fishing trip. The island’s only 18-hole golf course is located at Hersonissos. There are a few places to dine in and around Douliana including restaurants and taverns serving mainly Cretan fare.
