Weather in Ruhr Area, Germany
The best times to visit this area are late spring, summer and early autumn when the temperatures are very pleasant. The warmest months of the year are generally July and August with maximum highs of around 22 to 23 degrees centigrade. The winters can get fairly cold with the average high only 5 degrees centigrade in December and January, but temperatures can drop below zero.

Cologne Bonn Airport (CGN) is approximately one hour’s drive from Ruhr and has flights arriving from other German cities as well as numerous international airports.
