The warmest time to visit the south of Germany is July when the maximum high temperature is 23 degrees centigrade, although June and August are also warm months. The temperature in December, January and February is cold enough to encourage substantial snowfall. Ironically the higher temperatures encourage the most rainfall in the region with July having an average of eight rainy days per month.
