The Saint Nazaire area has many fascinating buildings and has lots of history. La Baule is a very attractive seaside resort with some pleasant parks and gardens. There are some wonderful places to visit nearby too such as the Ocean Zoo Resort at Le Croisic, which is about 40 minutes from Saint Nazaire. The city of Nantes is an hour’s drive away and has many excellent visitor attractions. These include the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul as well as the Fine Arts Museum, Jules Verne Museum and the Planetarium. Visitors can see many historic buildings in the city such as the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany as well as the lovely parks and gardens located here.

Nantes Atlantique Airport (NTE) is 55 minutes drive from Saint-Nazaire and has flights from various French and European airports. These include Amsterdam (AMS), Barcelona (BCN), Dublin (DUB), Geneva (GVA), London-Gatwick (LGW), Manchester (MAN) and Milan-Malpensa (MXP) amongst others.
