The Begude Golf Course is the toast of many local golfers. Stretching out below the village, the golf course is hugely picturesque yet don’t allow this to lull you into a false sense of confidence; there are a couple of real challenges to overcome as you play a round. There are also a number of public tennis courts for your use within the village. The Club Med leisure resort at the bottom of the village has a great range of leisure facilities available.
The huge allure of the coast can be very hard to ignore from a holiday rental villa in Opio, but, with only 25km between the two, a day at the beach is an excellent option. The famous beaches of Antibes and Cannes are among the closest, and some of the best if you would like to enjoy scuba diving, deep sea fishing, sailing, surfing, windsurfing or waterskiing, but for days of pure relaxation stretched out on the golden sand, there are many miles of pristine beaches to choose from.

Valbonne is a wonderful medieval village, which still bustles with activity, especially on Friday, which is market day. There are a great range of restaurants, galleries and antique shops.
