Anyone searching for a great holiday by the north coast of France might like to try the commune of Cabourg. Located in the Calvados department within the region of Normandy, this town offers many things for holidaymakers to see and do. This village features picturesque streets with half timbered houses from the 17th century and beautiful plants. Caen is approximately 30 minutes drive away and features fine sights such as the 11th century castle, which is one of the largest medieval fortresses in Western Europe. Visitors will also be able to see abbeys, churches and the beautiful botanical gardens in Caen.

Paris-Orly Airport (ORY) is approximately a two hour and 40 minute drive from Cabourg and has flights arriving from numerous international airports. Alternatively, visitors from the UK can catch a ferry from Portsmouth to Ouistreham and drive just 30 minutes to Cabourg.
