About 30 kilometres away is Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, which is a village built on the site of a Roman city and features the 12th century Cathedral of St Mary. Toulouse is well worth a visit and is only one hour away from Aurignac. Visitors will find many wonderful historic buildings and museums in this great city including the cathedral, churches, a Roman amphitheatre and the zoo and safari park.
