There is also a leisure lake here, which makes for good relaxing on a hot summer’s day. To the east of Anost is Couches Castle which is a must see, as indeed are the vineyards just beyond it. To the north of the village the Chateau de Sully can be found, and it is the largest Renaissance Chateau in the south of Burgundy. Charming hill top towns, majestic views and beautiful countryside abound, making a holiday in Anost a very memorable one.
