This beautiful Cypriot village provides tourists with everything they long to find in their dream holidays; amazing townscapes and monuments, quiet countryside and scenic beaches just minutes away. Visiting the historic village of Kiti, only two or so kilometres away is a remarkable experience and should not be missed by any tourist to this part of Cyprus. It has a number of ancient churches with beautiful gardens and a number of noteworthy diners. And while at Kiti visitors can also make a short detour to the village of Pervolia which promises lively Cypriot entertainment.
Tersefanou has spectacular warm weather throughout the year with temperatures rarely ever dropping below 15°C during the day. Winter sees temperatures averaging between 15 and 19°C which is rather warm in any part of the world. Even as spring begins temperatures are well in the twenties and by summer they are oscillating between 30 and 33°C. Though the climate becomes cooler as autumn sets in, temperature averages remain in above 20°C until winter arrives. Winter sees the highest amount of precipitation with January and December averaging about 75mm.
The Larnaca International Airport, the largest in Cyprus, lies less than 5 miles away from Tersefanou. Carriers bring passengers from all over Europe and beyond on direct flights. Among the major mainstream carriers that bring visitors here are Etihad Airways, Emirates, British Airways and Lufthansa. Easyjet and Jet2 are two of the more recognised budget carriers that operate in this route. These fly in people from Vienna, London, Malta, Tel-Aviv, Cairo, Abu Dhabi and other locales. There are also domestic airliners such as Cyprus Airways that ferry in passengers from other parts of the country.
