The best time to visit is between June and August when there is barely a cloud in the sky and temperatures range between 28 and 34°C. Those arriving in September will find the weather to be slightly rainy and temperatures in the mid-twenties. October and November see many wet days and much cooler temperatures ranging between 13 and 8°C. The temperatures get slightly cooler as December arrives and there are a few days when snow is experienced.
Zagreb’s Pleso Airport is the closest airport to Vinkuran and a number of budget airlines have scheduled flights to this airport. This is Croatia’s main international gateway and it welcomes both scheduled and seasonal flights from Europe’s major cities as well as domestic traffic.
