Here there are koalas, kangaroos, wombats and other creatures. Guided tours are available of the Sea Acres National Park and Rainforest Centre, which is also located at Port Macquarie.

Port Macquarie Airport (PQQ) is about two hour’s drive from Boomerang Beach and has flights arriving from Brisbane (BNE) and Sydney (SYD). From here holidaymakers can hire a car and drive to their accommodation in Boomerang Beach. Overseas visitors can fly to Sydney International Airport (SYD) and get a connecting flight to Port Macquarie.
