On the outskirts of the capital is the Paraná Delta, which is a magnificent maze of rivers and streams wrapped with flora and fauna. Visitors wanting a trip further afield can take a ferry from Buenos Aires to Colonia del Sacramento in Uruguay.

The most direct way to travel from Europe to Argentina is via Madrid, Spain. There are also flights available that first fly to major airports in the United States such as New York, Miami, Washington DC, and Atlanta, and then connect to Buenos Aires, Argentina.
