Grantourismo Travel Blogging Competition

In 2010, globetrotting travel writers Lara Dunston and Terry Carter, in partnership with HomeAway.co.uk, swapped hotel rooms for holiday homes and embarked on a contemporary grand tour they called 'Grantourismo'. Their aim was to discover a more enriching and authentic way to travel and they chronicled their experiences on the blog, grantourismotravels.com

As part of the project and to get other travellers involved, Lara, Terry and HomeAway ran monthly contests for budding and experienced writers, bloggers and photographers, with the chance to win £500 towards a stay in any property on HomeAway.co.uk, plus a variety of other prizes.
