The town of Dreux offers the chance to play golf, go horse riding, play tennis and even go-karting. The race track and the fun of horse racing night here is an experience not to be missed. There is a multitude of cycling trails throughout the region with regular and electric bikes available for rent in most towns. The leisure lakes in the region come with boat hiring facilities for sailing or ‘wannabe’ sailing enthusiasts.
The large Loire Valley has three distinct climates. On the western coast hot weather prevails most of the year with mild winters. Near Nantes the climate is cooler; there is a continental climate with short hot summers in the upper Loire. On average, Eure-et-Loir receives around 17 inches of rainfall per year.

You may also wish to choose Orleans Airport (ORE), as neither of these are particularly busy with UK bound flights.
