Further afield, Porto Cristo is home to two cave systems that are quite awe inspiring, and if you have time, try to fit in a trip to the main city of Palma. The weather in Majorca is quite simply wonderful. A Mediterranean climate, it has mild winters and warm summers. The summer months are by far the most popular time to visit, but off season is nice too. Expect highs of 30 degrees Celsius during July and August, with minimal rainfall. The coolest months are December and January, but even during this time, the day time highs can reach 15 degrees. Perhaps not warm enough to swim in the sea, but certainly better than the UK at the same time of year!
