This is one of Orange County?s finest beaches, perhaps because it has somehow managed to retain the laid back, village vibe about it. The John Wayne Airport is the only way to access these parts by air. It is, in fact, Orange County?s only commercial airport. Although most flights to John Wayne are from Atlanta, Chicago, Las Vegas and other cities on the American mainland, direct flights from locations as far as Calgary, Vancouver and Guadalajara. Ground transport here comes in the form of limousines, taxis and rental vehicles from reputable firms.
