Geneva in Switzerland is just under two hour’s drive from Brides les Bains and features many great sights. The warmest time of the year to visit this part of France is generally July and August when the average daily maximum temperature is approximately 26 degrees centigrade. January is the coldest month with average highs of 6 degrees centigrade, although the temperature can fall below zero with snow fall on the higher ground during winter. The wettest month tends to be September with an average rainfall of 93mm.
Chambery Airport (CMF) is about an hour and 10 minute’s drive from Brides les Bains and has seasonal flights from London-Gatwick (LGW), Manchester (MAN), Moscow-Domodedovo (DME) and Rotterdam (RTM) amongst other airports. Alternatively Geneva International Airport (GVA) is just under two hour’s drive from Brides les Bains. Easy Jet offer cheap flights from various European airports including Amsterdam (AMS), Berlin-Schonefeld (SXF), Bristol (BRS), Brussels (BRU), Lisbon (LIS), London-Gatwick (LGW), Madrid (MAD), Rome-Fiumicino (FCO) and Stockholm-Arlanda (ARN) amongst others.
