Holidaymakers looking for a scenic place to stay in the south of France should try the beautiful village of Boulouris. Located in the Provence region in the southeast of the country, this commune is conveniently located close to many great things for holidaymakers to see and do. A regular boat service also takes passengers from the old port at St Raphael to St. Tropez. Another place well worth visiting and a lot closer to Boulouris is Frejus. Here visitors will see many Roman and medieval sites such as the amphitheatre, Roman theatre, aqueduct, cathedral and the Archaeological Museum. Aqualand Water Park is also located in Frejus. The Esterel massif is a sight to behold with the turquoise of the sea blending magnificently with the red of the cliff and islands. Nature lovers will also enjoy the Verdon Regional Nature Park, where there is an abundance of flora and fauna. The region boasts many vineyards too for tourists to explore and taste some great wine.
