Holidaymakers looking to get away to a very scenic area with many things for visitors to do should try Alton in the Lake Winnipesaukee area. Located in the U.S state of New Hampshire in the north east of the country this area offers wonderful scenery and year round entertainment. Temperatures in January and February can dip as low as 5 degrees Fahrenheit but average out at about 20.
