June, July and August are the warmest months in this part of New Hampshire with an average high of around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures in January and February can dip as low as 5 degrees Fahrenheit but average out at about 20. The rainfall across the year is quite even with an average of about 2 inches in February to a highest of 3.6 inches in august.
Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT) is approximately one hour and 30 minutes from Waterville Valley. Flights arrive here from Atlanta (ATL), Chicago-O’Hare (ORD), Detroit (DTW) and Washington-Dulles (IAD) amongst other airports. Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz National and Thrifty are car rental firms located at Manchester-Boston Airport. Visitors from overseas can fly to Chicago-O’Hare and get a connecting flight to Manchester. Flights arrive at Chicago from Amsterdam (AMS), Dublin (DUB), Frankfurt (FRA), London-Heathrow (LHW), Madrid (MAD), Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Tokyo-Narita (NRT) and Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) amongst others.
