Villa in Alcossebre Spain, set on two floors with 3 large terraces including a rooftop solarium with sea & mountain views, private driveway and shared gardens with pools. Built in 2006 and located on the outskirts of Alcossebre village, in a private gated development with access to extensive gardens and three pools. 10 min walk to shops, restaurants, tennis courts and beautiful sandy beaches. With hot and cold air conditioning this property is spacious and furnished to our exacting standards with comfort in mind and overlooks landscaped gardens with 3 pools & kids pools. Our house has everything you will need for a comfortable stay including Satellite LED TV, DVD, CD player, large fully equipped kitchen with full size dishwasher and spacious living area with large comfortable L shaped Sofa. With 3 terraces, you can enjoy the sun all day long and in the evening retreat to the rooftop solarium with a drink and enjoy the sunset over the mountains! What could be better? Castellon and Pensicola are nearby

Golf/Skiing: Two 18 hole golf courses within approx 30 minutes drive one is the renowned Bernhard Langer Panoramica Golf Course. Approximately 90 minutes drive to Spanish Ski Resort at Valdinares.

Other Activities: Horse riding and quad biking and segway tours are available activities, water park approx 20 mins away. Local shops provide an ample selection of quality produce with super and hypermarkets at nearby Benicarlo, Vinaros and Castellon approximately 20 and 30 minutes drive respectively. An abundance of local restaurants, cafe and Tapas bars, provide a wide range of good quality food to suit all tastes.

Distances & Travel: Barcelona Airport is approx 2 hours away, Reus and Valencia airports are about 1 hour. A car is recommended to fully explore and appreciate this beautiful area of Spain. The Orange Blossom Coast has miles and miles of beautiful beaches, and secret coves. It also has one of the most mountainous regions in Spain, with medieval villages and outstanding landscapes. Places to visit include Morella, a medieval walled town and Peniscola with its old town and famous castle over looking the sea. Port Aventura has a fantastic themed water park and Universal Studios Theme Park.

Welcome to the unspoilt coastline of Costa Del Azahar, the Orange Blossom Coast. Alcossebre is a real Spanish village that gives a real taste of Spain...there are few Brits here. It is surrounded by orange groves with the mountains on one side, sea on the other and within a national park area, so no high rises! Alcossebre boasts 5 beautiful blue flag beaches, the best of which is within walking distance of our house. Restaurants, shop, bakery, tennis courts & bank are 5 mins away and the centre with its wide choice of shops, restaurants, promenade and busy marina is just a little further. Notes:
Our holiday home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need including microwave, full size dishwasher, full oven and hob, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, iron and ironing board, toaster kettle, cafetiere and of course all the pots, pans, cutlery etc you could need. Each bedroom has its own hairdryer and there is a cot and a high chair if needed. All the terraces have full patio sets so you can follow the sun around all day (and evening) long! Our house is one of the best in the area due to our attention to the little details that other owners ignore. For example: Luxury, comfortable furnishings, UK Satellite LED TV. Located right opposite main pool, you can relax on the main terrace and keep an eye on your children as they splash in the pool. Professional 2-piece sun canopy fitted to main terrace to give much needed shade in high season.

The apartment was certainly as described, with everything we could have wanted, with some extras thrown in as well. The complex is lovely and well maintained, with the largest of 3 pools right outside your doorstep. Alcossebre itself is a great resort with numerous restaurants and shops and fantastic beaches. In all, I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.

Perfect for relaxing

we had a lovely time here, the beaches were beautiful and the house was perfect, we had some great evenings on the terrace at the back, just chilling out and relaxing and having a few gin and tonics. The house was well equipped and decor was fab. House was close to beaches and restaurants and the walk back from the town on a night was a lovely way to walk off our dinner.
The balcony on the front was lovely to have breakfast and the house and location was ideal for a relaxing holiday
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family

Great apartment

The apartment is spacious and has all the mod cons.
Cot/high chair/C beebies available which is great when you have small children and the balcony gate to the pool is lockable which keeps them safe.
The balcony catches the evening sun so is a great place to relax.
The complex was really quiet (early May) so it's like having your own personal swimming pool and gardens some days.
It is a bit of a walk into town but it's along the beach promenade so isn't exactly a chore and there are restaurants/bars/supermarkets nearer.
Overall a really nice apartment and a great holiday destination.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Young Children

Holiday Apartment in Alcossebre, Spain

This was one of the nicest apartments we have ever stayed in. It was beautifully maintained and extremely well equipped with many thoughtful touches that made it feel like home from home.
We particularly liked the large terrace with full sun canopy, overlooking the gardens and pool. The owner provided us with extremely helpful and very detailed information about the apartment, local restaurants, beaches and all sorts of things which are so useful when you are new to an area.

There were a few restaurants within about at 10 minute walk, but the main town of Alcossebbre with many lovely restaurants and tapas bars was about 20 minutes walk . There is a a cleverly constructed wooden walkway which stretches along the coastline. all the way into town, which means the walk is very pleasant, and safe with no traffic to worry about.

Alcosebbre is a typical spanish sea-side resort which we loved, not a lot of English was spoken We ate in many lovely restaurants and didn't have a bad meal anywhere. One restaurant which we feel warrants a mention is Valentin's, on the front in Alcosebbre, the service and food here were exceptional. The beaches were really lovely and never seemed to be too crowded. If you are looking for wild nightlife and English breakfast this isn't the place for you.

I would thoroughly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a restful holiday in lovely surroundings, with beautiful walks nearby and good food and wine. We would have no hesitation in returning.

Holilday Villa in Alcossebre, Palm Beach ll

This was a lovely villa situated in a very well maintained complex. The villa was clean and tastefully furnished with nice fresh clean linen. I apologies now if I over use the word ‘lovely’ but it’s true, everything was just lovely. The main living area and main bedroom is air-conditioned which was just as well because when we went (end of July beginning of August) the weather was wall to wall fantastic! My children aged 10 and 14 loved it too especially the pool and the freedom offered to them in such a lovely resort. The people living within the direct area (didn’t meet any others) were very friendly and made us very welcome. The pool really is just by the patio and is fabulous and having looked around at the other pools on the complex, this one was by far the best. The only thing that could improve the villa is air-conditioning in the second bedroom but that’s a personal preference. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again. The local supermarket was a short and very pleasant walk away and sold just about anything you could need. A quick tip, we parked in the town centre in a blue bay at lunch time and got a parking ticket! White bays are free all the time. No fear though, with the pink ticket you get a little envelope, put the ticket in the envelope and find a parking meter, press the yellow button three times and pay the ‘on the spot fine’ of €3.90 (I think) and you get a slip, half you keep as a memento and half goes in the envelope with the pink fine slip and post in the slot at the top of the machine. Much, much cheaper than dear old blighty! We visited the water park just south of Alcossebre, about 30 minutes drive and had a wonderful day. My advice is to make use of the very handy cool box thoughtfully provided and take a pack lunch and lots of drinks. We got there for when it opened at 10 and had a wonderful day. Another good trip out was to Valencia. I recommend the open top bus tours (two tours, one ticket) to see the old city do tour 1 and tour 2 to see where the Valencia Grand Prix runs. I would also recommend the nature trail and old castle just north of Alcossebre and the church just to the south, all by car not foot. There are plenty of places of visit and park and walk. Overall I highly recommend the villa, we really did have a wonderful time and the welcome pack was very much appreciated especially as my eldest daughter is a type 1 diabetic and the chilled orange juice on arrival was much appreciated.
