Very popular with families searching for a holiday with all the required facilities at hand. Within walking distance of the amazing sandy beach and Oliva Nova Hotel and Spa and Golf Club. Also close to the brand new Mediterranean Equestrian Centre which holds its events during february and March. There is a wonderful shared pool close by, and as many of the properties are privately owned it rarely gets busy. Perfectly located for you to explore the area of Pedreguer, Altea and Denia.
Local Beaches : Facilities within the Oliva Nova Resort should keep everyone amused. Protected by the unspoilt sandy dunes, the beach is just a 15 minute walk or 2 minute drive away - you can enjoy 20km of fine golden sand, with cleanliness recognised by the EU blue flags. It is swept everyday gently shelving into the sea therefore ideal for families. It is also a very popular area for kite and wind surfers during the summer months. A variety of Spanish beach bars are open from May to the end of September. Within the resort is a children’s playground, during the school holidays, the hotel runs a children’s club.
The heat of the day tends to be from 3 oclock onwards when a sometimes strong breeze blows inland, there is plenty of room on the beach and you can expect to enjoy temperatures in the late 30s during july and august. During High season there are 2 beach bars as well as a beach massage bar.
Hotel and Spa: The Hotel boasts a fantastic Spa, known as the 'Body Love' centre, it has an indoor swimming pool, with Jacuzzi area, a Turkish Bath, Lemon scented bath, Mixed and Ladies Sauna's, Gymnasium and Relaxation Room. They also offer an extensive range of beauty treatments, including manicures, pedicures, waxing, relaxing body packs, Hydrotherapy treatments and various types of massage. The Hotel also has two bars, the main Hotel bar and also the Shamrock bar, two very good restaurants one of which the 'Oliva' offers a fine dining experience not to be missed.
Within the grounds of the Resort, you have the Sargantana bar, which serves food and drink till the early hours and has local nusical events throughout the year. supermarket,, medical centre and a bank, all these are within a 10 minute walk of the bungalow.
Equestrian Centre:New to the resort is the Equestrian Centre which is just a short walk away from the bungalow, during february and March it holds the Mediterranean Equestrian trials, and our property is available for short and long term lets to accomodate a thoroughly enjoyable event with some 300 riders from 33 different countries. so if you enjoy showjumping set in luxurious surroundings including a grandstand hospitatility area and even a tented shopping area then our house is definately for you either for a weekend or if you are participating in any way longer term lets are available
Golfing Holidays: The Golf Course at Oliva Nova is a 18 hole, par 72, PGA approved. Designed by Seve Ballesterous it hosts the qualifying rounds of the European PGA Tour. It is made up of 4 par 3's, 4 par 5's and 10 par 4's. Teeing off times can be arranged on request. There is another PGA gold course, within 20 minutes of Oliva, at La Sella, therefore giving Golfers the option of playing two good quality courses.
