Comfortably Sleeps 4 (Could Sleeep 6) Delightfully Bright, Sunny, & Cool.

Villa Maria is a comfortable, spacious, peaceful furnished villa with two bedrooms (one with a double bed & the other with twin beds) . It comfortably sleeps 4 people, and could accommodate 6. It has a spacious, airy living room with TV and DVD Player & WiFi if wanted, a dining room, and a compact well fitted fitted kitchen - ceramic hob oven with an extractor, dishwasher. microwave, toaster, kettle, liquidiser. There is also a cosy annexe with a washing machine & ironing faciities. At the back and on the side there is an open, spacious patio with chairs, tables, umbrella and an excellent stone barbeque. The villa has off street parking. You can enjoy the beauty and wonder of creation and the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets from most of the villa's windows. The villa is air conditioned & also has fans, oil radiators and blower heaters. The library, community office, restaurant, bar, sport facilities and community pool are a 2 minutes walk. Our tenants enjoy free use of the community swimming pool as it has already been paid for by us.

The Villa caters for short and long holiday lets.

Golf & Walks: The Golf Course on the site is still to be completed. but there are plenty of Golf Courses within reasonable distance of the villa. You can enquire at the office and the library about the wonderful walks.

Markets: At times there is a weekly market on the open land in front of the restaurant within a minute's walking distance of the villa. ! There are other marketsdays in the very near by towns just minutes away.

Swimming: The beaches are nearby and you will be spoilt for choice. On the site there is the lovely communal pool which is safe for children. The person who runs it is the Restaurant Boss, Carlos. It is open from 15th June to 15th September. I have negotiated a special deal for our villa (Villa Maria). So all staying at the villa (to a maximum of 4) can use the community pool without making any more payment to Carlos as it has already been paid and I will let Carlos know that you are my guests. You can enjoy yourselves at the community pool, bar and restaurant..

Water skiing, surfing and sailing abound in the area close by and further afield.

Hot Spings and baths, forest walks, mountain climbing too are availble options.

Wondeful churches, museums and food watering restaurants add to the glamour of your stay.

Villa Maria is on the prestigious Mazarron Country Club in the scenic Costa Calida, Murcia Region. It is easily accessed from Murcia Airport (San Xavier), Alicante Airport, and Almeria Airport. The drive from Murcia (San Xavier)airport to Mazarron Country Club takes just 40-45 minutes. The towns of Mazarron, Cartagena, Lorca, Puerto Mazarron and Murcia are served by excellent roads. It takes only five minutes from the Villa to get to some of them. There are several exotic beaches within a small radius. The lovely sandy beaches of Puerto Mazarron, Bahia, Bolnuevo, Isla Plana and many more are just 10 to 15 minutes away as are good Golf Courses. Churches, Museums, Restaurants, places of entertainment and historical places are all around. Very close to the villa there is a delightful community restaruant/bar, sports facilities & a wonderful, large swimming pool that only residents of our villa can use free of charge from 15th June to 15th September. Long and short term rentals available

Other Activities: Cultural and relgious festivals, theatres, restaurants and bars in the near by towns

Golf: Within 10 minutes driving there are Golf Courses to choose. The Camposol.Golf Course is just 7 minutes driving distance.

Notes

  • Monthly rentals are based on it being long term , that is, three to six months subject to further renewal if agreed to by both parties. You can either choose the rates given (this is inclusive of use of gas, water, electricity and TV but excludes phone and internet. You could pay my supplier separately for WIFI. You could,however, opt for a monthly rent of £300 (except for June, July & August) and pay the charges for water, electricity, gas, TV, & internet. For long term rentals a month's deposit & a month in advance would be required plus a deposit for utilities if not included in the rent.

    20% Deposit secures Booking. Full payment 8 weeks before occupation. All monies are to be paid & cleared before collecting the keys to the villa. At the time of collecting the keys you will need to hand over a further deposit of 100 euros. If all is in order this will be handed back in full to you . Kindly leave the villa in the clean & tidy state in which it was handed to you.
  • We endeavour to keep something available for your arrival. However, it would be better if you let the person who holds the keys, know if you need anything. She/he will buy it for you and bill you. This is just to tide you over the first night for emergencies and until you are able to get to the shops. Please contact the key holder at least a week before you are due to arrive and also nearer the time to give the approximate time of arrival as also if you need anything.

  • In this compact room there is lighted vanity cabinet with a mirrror and side cupboards, a shelf, and an electric shaving point. There is also an electric plug point for a hairdryer, towel rails and pegs for hanging clothes. The shower is enclosed. There is a large wash basin and a toilet unit but no bidet. A bin is provided as also some cleaning materials.

  • Two very comforable air conditioned double rooms: One room has a double bed, and the other twin single beds. Both double rooms have inbuilt wardrobes, bedside cabinets, table lamps, fans,curtains. blinds and air-conditioning. Bed Covers, sheets, pillow cases and towels (and when necessary duvets and blankets) are supplied for each person. The double bed bedroom has a mirror and a shoe cabinet. There is another full length mirror in the corridor. In addition to four people two more could sleep in the living room. An air bed could be supplied for that purpose.

Notes: The restaurant cum bar, swimming pool, tennis courts, and courts for other games are about 50 metres from the villa. There is easy and quick access to the nearby beaches and golf courses, as also to the towns. The beautiful communal swimming pool is available for for free use by our tenants in summer. Bed linen and towels are supplied. Internet connection available on separate payment. TV and a DVD player in the lounge. The compact kitchen has most of the cooking equipment needed when on holiday. Garden chairs with a table and umbrella are supplied for the enjoyment of the lovely sunny weather on a spacious patio area. You can also enjoy great barbecues on the patio with the help of the excellent stone barbecue. There is plenty to explore and to enjoy - towns: churches, cultural shows, markets, theatres,golf courses, hot springs, a choice of stunning beaches & coves, wind surfing, horse riding ... Wifi is access is possible in the villa and at the restaurant.

A beautiful, well maintained house, with excellent customer service provided by the owner and his agents on the site. The site was peaceful and very atractive and the house was well equiped, the fans and air conditioning being particularly welcome in August!
There was lots to see and do in the area, which is still very spanish and some gorgeous beaches.
You do need a car to stay at here as the Counrty Club has no facilities or public transport and our only disappointment was that it costs 12 euros a day for a family of 4 to use the pool.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children
Owner's Response: Even though our rental rates do take into consideration that we do not have a pool we have taken on board the comments about the costs of the community pool. We have now made arrangements for two adults and two children staying at our villa have free use of the community pool when it is open.
