Our Monte Verde self catering villa is equipped to the highest standards with amazing views over golf course, La Manga Club and Mar Menor. In a peaceful hillside setting, with three large terraces and own 45sqm pool, guests also have use of the wonderful indoor pool and jacuzzi complex (100m away) and two community outdoor pools (one heated). Fully equipped kitchen includes microwave, dishwasher, a wine fridge (takes up to 30 bottles!) and plenty of hotel-quality crockery and glasses. The cloakroom has a washer/dryer. Full air con/heating climate control system in all rooms and a filter water/softener system removes need for bottles from the supermarket. 42' satellite TV/DVD cinema system and further satellite TV's in all four bedrooms. Easy access from driveway for four cars. Perfect villa for families or groups of tennis/golf friends. Sports discounts apply for all. Email for special rates for parties of 2 to 6 outside school holidays, subject to availability. Wifi included.

Sport Facilities and Other Activities: Enjoy wonderful golf, tennis, squash, biking, sailing and other sports facilities. Book horse riding and treks at the nearby Equestrian Centre. During Easter and summer there are academies for juniors - football, rugby, tennis, cricket, golf - together with many activity clubs. You will find crazy golf and a fun Par 47. Take a ferry trip around the Mar Menor. Not far from the villa there are interesting walks and lovely beaches, breathtaking coastal scenery and tranquil woods mixed with fascinating historical mining areas. Further information is available from us for all the facilities on offer including child care clubs, diving, mountain biking, cycling and the trips on the Mar Menor. A useful folder of guest information is available within the villa upon arrival. We recommend car hire to make the most of your stay. Sports discounts for tennis and golf (where applicable within Resort).

Shopping, Wining and Dining: You may be happy to spend your visit within the La Manga Club Resort, especially over the summer months and there are over 25 restaurants and bars if you don't want to travel too far. However, you could venture to lively Cartagena, have lunch around the port, view roman ruins, take a boat trip then head to the great shops - there are large hypermarkets, fashion, shoe and sports shops, El Corte Ingles, Mango, Zara and many more. The busy market at Cabo de Palos on a Sunday morning is only ten minutes away and the many restaurants around the quayside are enjoyable all year especially over the summer months. Los Belones is the nearest village and you will find a small supermarket, furniture shops, ice cream parlour, cafes and restaurants with a smaller market on Tuesdays. Santiago de la Ribera has a lovely promenade and fish restaurants right on the sand - the market here is on a Wednesday. Further information on eating out and shopping is provided for your stay.

Entertainment: Entertainment changes every season but you can - catch live entertainment at the 5* hotel or pop into the large variety of other pubs, bars and restaurants within or close to the resort. A family quiz night held during the summer months at the tennis club gets booked up quickly and a good variety of family entertainment is also available although some are seasonal. There is a daily activity club for ages 3 months to 12 years. (Child minding facilities are also available). Superb tennis and golf facilities cater or all ages and ability. You could venture to the restaurants and bars along La Manga strip, Cartagena or nearby Cabo de Palos. A wonderful variety of festivals are held in the Cartagena region all year round but especially in April, September and December. Books, magazines, DVD’s, CD's and games are provided for nights in when you can just relax and enjoy our wonderful views!!

About Lynn Lambert

We started going to La Manga Club in 1994 when our girls were very young. The resort had everything we needed for wonderful family holidays and return visits became a must. After a few years we purchased our first property and the villa is our second property on the resort. We have all enjoyed the golf and tennis for many years but sometimes just head out to relax in the sunshine! We love sharing the villa with our family, friends and very welcome guests - many of whom visit us year after year.

We used to own a Los Olivos penthouse but needed more space and searched for a quieter location. The area of Monte Verde fitted the bill and we purchased off plan. It was very exciting to watch the build! We are extremely happy with our villa and visit when we can. It is a very relaxing, safe and secure place for memorable holidays. Our many guests tell us that they also love sitting on the terrace, after their last swim of the day, enjoying the sun going down over La Manga Club and beyond. Our villa and its facilites can be enjoyed whether you are a couple, a larger family group or two families getting the chance to have a holdiay together.

What makes this villa unique

Our villa is in a quiet and peaceful spot with the most amazing views from every window or terrace...yet with everything on your doorstep for a wonderful holiday. The access to our own pool, the community pools and the indoor pool facility makes it a great base all year round. All three golf courses continue to be well maintained and highly regarded and the tennis centre and its facilities are also hard to beat. The tennis centre caters for all standards of play. For family holidays, the sport academies held during the school holidays for children and adults are very popular and they are a chance for everyone to make new friends.

Our much loved detached villa with its own private pool is in the most premier position at Monte Verde with truly amazing views over most of the resort and beyond. La Manga Club comprises of a wide range of privately owned self catering villas and apartments and is still one of Europe's leading golf and tennis resorts and a perfect choice for family holidays. You will find a top hotel, spa, three superb golf courses, 28 tennis courts, football and bike activity centre, wide range of eating establishments and bars, shops, supermarkets, a dentist and a medical centre. Murica (San Javier) airport is less than 30 minutes away and Alicante less than an hour. The quaint fishing village of Cabo de Palos has excellent seafront restaurants, bars, boat trips, supermarkets, a Sunday market and is within a 10 minute drive. The region's second largest city, Cartagena, is only a 20 minute car journey away where you will find a port, Roman ruins, excellent sightseeing and great shopping for all. Lovely beaches to explore are close by.

Other Activities: School Holidays - junior football, rugby, golf, tennis, cricket, so much fun!

Golf: Voted Spain's Leading Golf Resort, La Manga Club is a special place - three championship 18-hole courses - the wonderful South Course with its comprehensive redevelopment compliments the North and West courses. The West Course remains a fascinating challenge to all! A favourite of many and always in great condition is the testing North Course. Also a floodlit driving range, chipping and putting greens, 18 hole par 47 course, superb golf academy, 'VI' digital swing analysis, individual and five-day tuition, pro shop and clubhouse, equipment and buggy hire, weekly competitions and convenient pre bookable tee times. Our guests receive discounted golf rates. Competitions are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Soft spikes a requirement on all courses and a spikes fitting service is available. (Take white socks and tees!) We would strongly advise pre-booking tee times and competitions and we can provide the details for you to do so. After your round, you could treat yourself to the Spa and Wellness Centre providing a wide variety of luxury treatments and pampering! But remember our villa is next door to the wonderful Monte Verde indoor pool and jacuzzi complex and renting our villa gives you free access to this all year round facility.   • Note: 42' TV installed in the living area and from April 13 we have new Samsung LED flatscreen tv's in all bedrooms. Our wooden seating on the roof terrace is just perfect for morning coffee or evening sun downers! Be assured, an extremely high standard of accommodation is maintained throughout the year. Our lovely villa has a rigorous inspection from our expert management team every spring and the necessary housekeeping carried out to ensure the high standards continue for the season ahead. The pictures on the villa really do not do it justice. They are fantastic !!. The overall layout and quality finish of the villa is superb. We have stayed in a lot of houses in America, but this villa was even better. We had a fab holiday in La Manga and my children really enjoyed the Scuba Diving. Will not hesitate in rebooking.

Incredible Time!

We had the most incredible time, your villa is stunning and the attention to detail is really evident. We have rented lots of houses over many years and all voted yours the best. The children had a fantastic time and slept well thanks to the brilliant air conditioning and comfy beds - which made our week even better. We had a great time exploring the beach at Calblanca and the Roman amphitheatre at Caragena was a huge hit. We hope to be back!

Everything was Perfect

We had an absolutely splendid holiday - everything was perfect - the villa was super as always and the weather was just as we like it. We both said it was one of our most relaxing holidays. We sat on your terrace and marvelled at the fine view - the best by far in the Resort and soaked up the lovely weather and read a lot. We did venture out! Visiting Cabo de Palos and we set off early one morning for Cartagena while it was cool. We had a good visit going via the scenic route and returning the direct route and back to the haven of MV23! We ate in and we ate out enjoying our favourites La Finca and Los Molinos and one pleasant evening at La Bodega - one really doesn't have to venture far. Thanks again.
