A delightful detached villa located in the sort after resort of San Jaime. Extensive sea views across the ‘Son Bou’ beach. On the ground floor are two twin bedrooms, a single bedroom, a family bathroom and separate shower room. There is a spacious living / dining room, with open fireplace and a separate fitted kitchen with laundry room. On the first floor, the master double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and double doors leading to a spacious sun terrace, with sea views. The villa is tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard throughout. Patio doors from the lounge lead onto a covered terrace, equipped with table and chairs and a brick built barbecue making an ideal ‘alfresco’ dining area. Son Bou beach is situated in the south of the island; it is a firm favourite with families. It is the longest beach in Menorca - nearly 3km of pale golden sand, making it ideal for sun bathing and water sports. Within the resort there are a range of bars, restaurants and several supermarkets. The beach has several beach bars with a variety of water sports equipment available to hire including jet skis, pedaloes, windsurfing boards and snorkelling equipment.Son Bou features one of the island's few discothèques; the majority of nightlife is relatively low key, being based around the restaurants, bars and hotels that offer scheduled entertainment. San Jaime, Menorca is a purpose built resort on the Son Bou beach, that caters very well for family holidays. All the necessary facilities are to hand including tennis courts, a supermarket, shops, restaurants, a medical centre and chemists. In addition the popular Club San Jaime has a water play park, with its water chutes and a maize.

Our first holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it

This was our first villa holiday experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and which has changed the type of holiday we plan for in the future. We went to the villa with friends and family, but at no time did the villa feel overcrowded. The villa was spacious, clean and the added pleasure of having our own pool made the whole experience enjoyable and one we would like to revisit. The villa and the pool were kept clean and tidy by the housekeeping staff and they were very prompt at solving any problems we had. The rep was very good and helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the villa at Son Bou. Fantastic location with superb view. Recommend a visit to Saint Louis near Binibeca quaint little town and quite traditional. All in all a very comfortable villa in a lovely location and plenty of hot water!!!

The property is a little tired and pricey and in need of some upgrading however it was clean and well located. The villa was not ready by the agreed time and we had to wait an hour after the agreed time to start our holiday - not what you need after a long journey. We were also driven out bed & a late lie in by an extra (unscheduled) visit by the cleaners at 9am. The drinking glasses were filthy!
These were the negatives - to positives are that we had a great week and would return, but the price would need to come down as we have had better for less cost
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
