WHITE WASHED VILLA WITH POOL NR THE BEACH AT PTO POLLENÇA

We have just returned from 2 glorious weeks in this spacious villa and cannot really fault it. travelling as a family of 5, we found the owners very friendly and accomodating and there was everything equipment wise that we required.
the property was adequately clean when we arrived and was cleaned once more whilst we were there. The only downsides were the small shower room was small and the flush on the loo was not brilliant. We also struggled in some rooms for electrical sockets to plug in fans and mosquito repellant.
We used the nearby aparthotel for some entertainment on a couple of nights and also used the splash pool as we were advised by the owner he had come to an agreement with the hotel for guests to use it. the children loved it.
Our only problems encountered within the 2 weeks were ant infestations and mosquitos, leading to us being badly bitten, even with repellant but this was due to the weather not the apartment.
We love puerto pollenca and have holidayed here many times and this villa was one of the best accomodation we have used.
The apartment is on the very outskirts of the centre but there is a bus route nearby if you dont want to drive.
there was plenty of garden space for the children to play and the villa was secluded and safe.
the Tango restaurant is in easy walking distance and very good. we visited here twice. they were accomodating with the children and did a great menu del dia.

We had a super week with better weather than we had expected. Repairs must have been carried out in the bathrooms as we didn't experience any problems there. The accommodation is well equipped and the pool and garden are the best we have had on our many trips to the area. We'll be back.

When I first viewed this villa on the internet I was drawn to its rustic appearance - unfortunately iit was more tired than rustic! The pool, gardens and external aspects of the villa were great but inside, the kitchen was dated and worn and the showers, both in the main bathroom and en suite where difficult to use with any level of satisfaction. The shower head in the en suite came off with increased water pressure and the main bathroom shower had its own challenges! Both could be improved considerably without significant expense. The absence of air conditioning was a huge oversight when I chose this villa and although fans were provided they were inadequate leaving it difficult to get a good nights sleep. The propety was very clean and adequately furnished. Towels and bed linen were plentiful. We chose not to hire a car and relied on an inexpensive and accessible local bus service through the day and taxi's on an evening - even with two children this worked well. Peurto Pollensa is lovely but incredibly expensive and overall we found that eating out was not good value and we had to pay over the odds for a decent meal. Take lots of spending money. On the plus side the weather was fantastic!
