My thanks to Lyn for her help during my booking of her villa.
There were 5 of us staying for the second week and I must say we found the villa to be rather small for that number.
The second double bedroom had a small bed which was really only suitable for one person and you could only get in from one side.
The lounge area was very small and couldn't really seat anymore than 4 comfortably.
If you had young children you had to be careful of the open staircase which only had a rope.
The weather was wonderful so we ate all our meals on the terrace which was lovely, but if we had had to eat in the table was small and only had 4 chairs.
Th setting of the villa is lovely, with beautifully kept gardens and pool.
It was a short walk down to the beach and the sea. It was very busy when we were there but plenty for the children to do and all clean.
The restaurants were many and very good and plenty of shops both for food and presents.
It was a lovely holiday but our overall impression was that the villa was really only suitable for 4 people comfortably.
Owner's Response: I am surprised at this review for a few reasons. Firstly there were 7 people instead of 5 which I definitely would have refused even if 2 are children as they generally take up more room with huge cots being added to bedrooms and everything else. We also accomadated,more than a week in advance,a very large oxygen machine being delivered which had to be there when other guests were there and also it was not collected for 5 days after they left whilst we were there but would have been even more inconvenient for other guests. It was intimated that the two daughters were visiting at seperate times and not all at the same time for any of it. I never imagine that all seven would be in the house all at one time. I agree it is small for that and hence would not take a booking for that many.
There also is 6 chairs but we thought that people would prefer not to have them all around the inside table and there is one in each bedroom. The bed is a double bed with a super king in the main bedroom and two singles in the other room, all clearly outlined in our details.
The whole point of the villa is that everyone eats outside in the summer if it rains there is cover as it is still warm.
