TWO SPACIOUS, LUXURY APARTMENTS IN BELLRESGUARD NEAR PINE WALK

The owners communication, advice and information were excellent.

We arrived late and in the dark so just got the kids to bed on arrival. We woke (early!) the next day and opened the electric blinds- Wow! what a treat. The apartment which had looked great at night looked stunning, very contemporary and furnished to a very high standard. The view from the biggest balcony we had have ever seen was very pleasant looking out over the well planted gardens and the pools of the Atlas apartments and next door Eneas also.

Although the apartment is on a complex (a very upmarket one) we felt like we were the only people there, and whilst we were staying at the end of the season we got the impression it would never feel crowded even in high season. The whole complex is very well done and meticulously maintained.

The apartment itself was perfect, very spacious, brilliantly equipped, beautiful bathrooms, especially the walk in shower en suite. All the bedrooms were large and the beds exceptionally comfortable. At night with the shutters down you felt cocooned form the outside world.

With three kids we do tend to self cater in the true sense of the term and so often find kitchens are ill-equipped in holiday lets, not so here, everything you need including a food processor!.

The whole complex felt safe and secure. We would love to go back an are looking at next years holiday there already!.

Nothing disappointed us at all, it was a lovely week and I have no doubt we will go back. I hope this helps you to make your decision.

This property is one of the very best we have ever stayed in; we were so please with its location and amenities that we have booked to go back next year already. The owner was fantastic, prior to our departure we got sent full instructions including a map and directions of how to find the apartment, details of car hire companies and also some potential restaurants to visit.

The apartment was found easily and our first impression lasted us the whole of the two week holiday, it was wonderful. The apartment itself was perfect for a family, with three large bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen; the owner has even made it a home away from home with many toys for the children. The fantastic balcony was child friendly and great for lunch, an evening meal and drinks when the children were asleep!

The apartment itself is set in the Bellresguard complex which is a lovely development with many communal pools so it was never too busy to have a relaxing swim. The local shop had wonderful pastries and fresh bread in the morning and with a larger super market less than 5 mins drive away (Eroski) it was easy to get everything we required for our stay.

Puerto Pollensa itself was lovely along the beautiful Pine Walk you are only 15 mins from the restaurants, which unlike other areas in Majorca were all along the sea front and not behind the big hotels. This made for beautiful settings for meals at numerous restaurants including Stay, Corb Mari and Hotel Capri.

We stayed at the "Atlas" apartment in May/June 2012 with our 2 young children (aged 5 and 3), having enjoyed staying at the owner's other apartment (Eneas) last summer. Both apartments are lovely and we had a fantastic time.

"Atlas" is perfect for a family holiday - very spacious, well-equipped, clean and modern. There are many books, toys and DVD's to keep children entertained and great washing and drying facilities. Also, as another reviewer mentioned, the beds are extremely comfortable and with the black-out shutters and efficient air-conditioning, you are able to sleep very well!!

There is a huge balcony off the living room and 2 of the bedrooms, which gets the sun almost all day long and a gas bbq for enjoying lazy meals in the evening.

The apartment has access to a large, communal pool, which is shared with only a handful of other apartments, so never gets too busy. All the grounds and gardens around the apartment are well kept and stocked with lovely flowers, such as bourgainvillea. Also, our children loved watching all the wildlife in the ponds - turtles, fish and frogs etc.

The Bellresguard Estate contains a lot of apartments, but it is quiet and feels very small and private as each area is split off from the others by hedges and each area has it's own swimming pool. At the edge of the estate is Formentor Store which sells great bread and pastries for breakfast.

It is a lovely 5 minute stroll to the seafront and Pine Walk area, which is extremely pretty. A further walk of 10 to 15 minutes along the Pine Walk takes you to the main beach, shops and restaurants. Puerto Pollensa has many good beachside restaurants where the children can play on the sand while the aduls are eating. The owner provides a very useful information pack which contains, amongst many other things, recommended restaurants - we had great meals at Little Italy, Stay and Bahia.

The apartment has a secure parking space at the rear for if you hire a car. There are many great places to visit within a short distance of the apartment: Cap de Formentor, Formentor beach, Pollensa Old town, Alcudia, Soller etc.

Overall, this is a lovely apartment, in a great location, tucked away at the back of a beautiful resort, which has everything you need for a great family holiday. We would highly recommend it and will no doubt be returning!
