Stunning Villa with breathtaking views of the Mountains and Sea

We stayed in this gorgeous villa for a week in August 2012. We booked last minute due to health circumstances and when we contacted the owners (Sally and Paul) with a few questions they couldn't have been more helpful. Me, my husband and our adult daughter were so pleased when we pulled up to the villa, we have stayed in a range of villas around spain and this is by far our favourite one ever! The scenery is just stunning and the facilities are top notch. The villa is well equipped and very clean with a great layout.
We had a week of absoultely boiling weather and enjoyed trips out to Comares, Nerja and Lake Vinuela. We especially enjoyed having our own pool to use to cool off in the heat of the day.

Our daughter enjoyed the shopping at the El Ingenio mall in Velez Malaga where the Eroski is, which we found more than adequate for all our possible shopping needs.
We mainly cooked most nights and made great use of the barbecue and the brilliantly equipped kitchen in the villa.
On one of the days we had a small problem with the master ensuite toilet, one quick phonecall to our wonderful hosts whilst we popped out to the shops and they had someone round to fix the issue without any interruption to us whatsoever.
On one of our final nights we decided to go out for dinner, Sally and Paul gave us a wonderful reccomendation for The Lake Vineula Hotel and even booked us a table. The amazing food and the beautiful view over the lake from the table whilst we ate as the sun went down was absoutely breathtaking and it gave us the perfect end to a brilliant week.
We only wish we could have stayed longer, we will most definately be back!!

We stayed at this villa from 15/09/12 - 29/09/12.

Upon arrival we immediately knew that we had picked the right one. The views from the villa are stunning and it had absolutely everything we needed.

In the welcome notes at the villa, the owners say they have tried to make it a home from home, well they have succeeded, the villa was clean, well maintained and had all the facilities we needed, and more !

The kitchen is very well equipped and we ate on the terrace most nights to make the most of the views.

Sally and Paul were very helpful and on hand if you needed anything .

We didn’t leave the villa for the first week, there was really no need to as it has everything. However in the second week we did do some exploring and enjoyed Nerja and Gibraltar.

The local supermarket is a 5 minute drive away and was well stocked.

We would definitely return to this villa.

A wonderful two weeks vacation. The first time spain, certainly worth repeating. It is a very nice, fully furnished and well maintained holiday home with a nice pool. The covered terrace is ideal to look up the shade . Beautiful view on the valley with in the distance the Mediterranean. Very friendly and helpful owners, always willing to give you the necessary information. There is always a breeze which ensures a pleasant temperature. Many beautiful cities to visit within a two hour drive. A visit to Granada, Cordoba and Ronda is highly recommended. Good restaurants, fine wines, tapas, . .We hope that we will once be able to go back, but with sharing our good experience we are undermining our chances.
