This beautiful Two Bedroom Penthouse is on the 5th floor, with lift, in a private enclosed holiday complex set in lovely manicured gardens, a few minutes walk to the beach. An exceptionally large private terrace offers truly amazing sea views towards North Africa and Gibraltar.

The complex has two pools, toilet area and a poolside snack bar, which is open in HIGH season only. You could not ask for better family facilities.

The penthouse has two bedrooms, Master Bedroom large twin beds and 2nd Bedroom twin beds, + a sofa bed in the lounge. There is a main bathroom and second shower room. Linen and towels are provided.

The lounge has satellite TV and a DVD/CD Player. Also available is access to the internet which costs €30.00 for one week and €40.00 for two weeks, payable to Y-internet.com. The patio doors of the lounge lead onto the huge terrace, with sunbeds, and barbecue, which overlooks the sea as well as the beautiful gardens and pool. The American style kitchen is fully equipped. 2 supermarkets, Beach, Bars, Restaurants are five minutes walk away.

What's to do here?: Riviera del Sol has long been a popular area for Tourists as it has many Bars and Restaurants within walking distance of the apartment. For people who don't wish to drive whilst here, then there is a Bus service which takes you into Marbella or Fuengirola, from Fuengirola you can catch a Bus to Benalmadena or Torremolinos both popular for their beaches and night life. Alternatively, a Bus into Marbella or Puerto Banus takes you to Puerto Banus Market which is very popular with Locals and Tourists alike. Marbella is known throughout the World for the Rich and Famous, who like to spend their holidays here.

If you do decide to drive here, then all the major attractions are close at hand, for golfers there are approximately 60 golf courses along the coast one of which is five minutes away in Miraflores, this is an 18 hole course and very popular. Go-Karting, Fishing, Swimming, snorkeling, Jet skiing and hang gliding plus many coach Trips and Tourist attractions can all be found here.

What Attractions are there?: Selwo Safari Park near Estapona is a lovely place to go for the kids. The BioPark in Fuengirola is a wonderful Zoo which has gone to a lot of trouble to make the animals feel happy in their surroundings, I have been several times and thoroughly enjoyed it. In Benalmadena you have Sea Life which is in the marina and is great fun for adults and children alike. Crocodile Park in Torremolinos is also another place that kids really enjoy. Also, in Aroyo dela Miel is Tivoli World which is a Theme park and great for all the family.

Coach trips to Gibralter, Seville, Ronda, Granada and Malaga are also available. If you like to shop, then The Myramar in Fuengirola or La Canada in Marbella offer all the High Street shops under one roof, beware, you could spend all day here especially in July when all the Sales are on.

My husband and I were looking for a holiday home and had seen many apartments in Mijas Costa, on the day before we were due to go back to the UK we were shown the apartment in Riviera del Sol, we absolutely fell in love with it and when we moved to Spain lived in it for five years, We now live in a house just up the road but couldn't bring ourselves to sell the apartment so decided to rent it out for the Summer.

The location is ideal for Marbella and Fuengirola, it is easy to get around if you don't have a car, the Bus stop is in walking distance and there are shops and restaurants all near at hand. The Penthouse is in a well run Community, with lovely gardens and great swimming pool. The apartment has a fabulous terrace with lovely views of the sea, it's ideal for relaxing on the terrace or in the gardens. When we lived there it was like one long holiday, great.

We have the benefit of sharing the costs of running the Community with Crown Resorts, it is kept up to a high standard. The Lounge is very bright and airy with lovely views from the Lounge window, also the Terrace is very big and great for having lunch or dinner on it in the Summer.

Fabulous apartment and wonderful holiday

What a wonderful holiday :) Thankyou so much we had the best ever holiday :) The apartment has everything you could ever need or want and WOW the terrace what views and huge! We spent our days by the pool relaxing watching the children play and make friends. Evenings we watched the sun go down with some of the most amazing sunsets I've ever seen then sometimes a walk for a drink at Georges. The supermarkets are nearby and easy to walk to. The beach is lovely and again easy to walk to. There is even a wolf whistling parakeet somewhere nearby that entertained us no end! Lynn and Dennis are nearby and on hand if you need anything :) and are very lovely people. I can't wait to return next year. Thankyou soooooo much for the best holiday ever <3
Owner's Response: Vicki and Alan stayed from 25th August to 3rd September 2013. Their two children James and Immi are lovely and very polite, it was a pleasure having them stay in our apartment. They are a very appreciative family who enjoyed the apartment and everything that we had to offer, we were so pleased that we were able to contribute to them enjoying their holiday, especially as they had had a pretty stressful year, I am pleased that they went home feeling happy and refreshed and wish them all the Best for the rest of the year. I would be happy to have them stay with us again and would be happy to recommend them as guests to any other rental Owners.

Amazig penthouse!!!!

The penthouse is gorgeous, very cosy, it has everything you could possibly need, can't help but feeling like home, very clean. The terrace is fabulous, full of beautiful flowers, the view is breathtaking. Lynn and Dennis are very nice, always there to help if you need anything, they gave us great tips about nearby attractions and restaurants. The surroundings are beautiful, La Cala de Mijas is at just 5 min drive, the beach is beautiful, many restaurants, lovely place to have a walk in the evening. Just downstairs from the penthouse there is a lovely garden, you have access to the 3 pools (one of them heated, one for babies). A non stop supermarket is just down the streeet, yo can find there everything you need. The penthouse is child friendly, the owners provided us with a baby cot and highchair. We had a great stay and we'd love to come back some day. We earned 2 great friends, Lynn and Dennis.

Lovely people and very appreciative of the Penthouse and Terrace, which makes renting out the property a pleasure. They enjoyed the facilities and were very nice people to have stay with us. We would have no hesitation in having them stay with us again and would recommend them to anyone else who lets out their property. Dennis and I do hope that they come back again. We only live a few minutes away from the Penthouse but they were no trouble whatsoever. Delightful people.

Attractive penthouse apartment

We found this apartment exactly as internet described. It was nicely decorated and the location was very good. Everything that you could think of had been provided by the owners and all of it was of good quality and in working order.

The owners were extremely helpful and very pleasant and accommodating.

We thought that the pool area was beautifully kept and the gardens were really pretty.

It is easy to pick up the roads to all the local areas of interest. Torremolinos has been revamped and is now a lovely place to visit. Marbella was an easy drive and we found a lovely bonsai nursery there which contained some amazing specimens. We found that Gibraltar had gone downhill with its cleanliness since our last visit but still makes a nice change to drive to.

We were only really disappointed with a few things, these being the very busy road that runs through the whole of the Costa del Sol which does give off some noise and spoils the views and the local restaurants were not as good as we hoped.

The lovely beach can be easily accessed by a subway which is very necessary considering the busy road but was spoilt on this occasion by swarms of jelly fish making it impossible to swim!

No mention was made of having to pay for internet access on the site but we notice that this has now been added into the description although it is actually 30 euros a week and not 24.

All in all a lovely apartment, well worth visiting and we would recommend to friends.

What a welcome Lynn and Dennis met us at the apartment the location was great
near to shops, restaurants and local transport if you dont want to drive.
The apartment is large enough for a family a good size lounge/diner,and kitchen with 2 bathrooms been a bonus,
and the terrace is enourmous and a real suntrap with great views across to Africa and Gibralter.
We had a few barbecues and some great lunches on the terrace 27 out of 29 days
were good weather not bad for November.
All in all a good holiday

What an absolutely beautiful apartment. Many thanks to Lynn and Dennis for being so helpful to us on arrival, and letting us holiday and use their facilities here at their home.

Marbella town and the millionaires port Puerto Banus with boutiques, restaurants and famous markets are only a 15 min drive away. Fuengirola with its shops, restaurants, bars, beaches, go karting and Aqua Park is just a 12 min drive along the sea front and the quaint and pretty mountain village of Mijas Pueblo, famous for its donkeys, winding narrow cobble streets and wonderful restaurants is a 12 min drive inland. Gibraltar, Ronda, Sevilla, Granada, Nerja, El Churro and the mountains of the Sierra Nevada as well as the marsh lands with flamingos and other bird life are but some of the places worth visiting and all are easily reached by car from the villa. For cultural visitors the highlights are the city of Sevilla, Cordoba and Granada. There are some of the highest mountains in Europe including Europe’s southern most skiing resort. Andalucia has something for everyone with its miles of clubs, bars, cafes, golf courses and beaches along the rocky coast.

I require a deposit of £250.00 GBP during high season and £200.00 GBP during low season and the Balance to be paid two months before arrival plus a Refundable damage deposit on arrival which is returned after the apartment has been checked over for any damage or breakages.
Notes £250 booking deposit, rest of money to be paid 8 weeks prior to holiday, plus £250 refundable security deposit.

Notes:
Contact owner for details on long term bookings during winter season. Although wheelchairs can gain access to the apartment via the lift it does depend on the width of the wheelchairs as to whether or not it can get through the front door, so please check with me as to the measurement of the door. There is a 32 inch flat screen T.V. with a DVD and CD player. Also various Books (novels mostly), and bucket and spade and balls for children. The very large terrace is a sun trap and is a favourite with our guests as it is very private and has fabulous views. There is no charge for high chair and travel cot. It·s ideal for the elderly and those with a slight disability, but you will need to be able to stand to get into the shower.
