Luxury apt in Mijas Pueblo,C.D. Sol. sea, mountain and village views

What can we say about this holiday ?
Only that this will be by far the best holiday you will ever have. It certainly was for us. The villa itself is beautiful, the rooms spacious , comfortable and tastefully decorated and with a lovely ambiance throughout. If you love the pictorial representations , as wonderful as they are, they cannot hope to do justice to the real thing. We spent many hours just happily sitting with a drink on the rooftop terrace with its beautiful and spectacular views looking down from the mountains to the sea and into the beautiful village of Mijas which is a treasure in itself.
One can't help but feel the love and attention that Joan and Maurice have
lavished on Casitas Julian and Janine to make this a holiday a dream come true.
They are lovely genuine people ,we found them extremely welcoming and friendly and they made every effort down to the smallest detail to ensure our holiday would be one to remember. Our daughter who was in the area at the same time ,spent four days with us at the villa. She fell in love with it too and has immediately booked a week with Joan and Maurice later this year in September.
Look no further, i promise you, you will not be disappointed.

We are a family of four Americans who are living in Switzerland - two adults and two boys, ages 8 and 4. We spent a wonderful week in Mijas, Spain. The apartment is definitely a good value. The pool and spa were well-maintained by our hosts. We enjoyed coming home from our day trips to have a swim and soak in the spa. We visited Cordoba and the Alhambra on day trips. We also explored a lot of beaches near Fuengirola and down the coast towards Nerja.

I sit here on the terrace in the sunshine after 4.5 weeks of fantastic views, weather and hospitality thinking of what to say that hasn’t already been said by previous reviews. Quite frankly it is the nearest you will get to Home comforts with sunshine. We’ve been to Spain many times but never in January so didn’t really didn't know what sort of weather to expect other than we knew it would be better than home. The sunshine was very welcome as both of us had been suffering with cough and the flu which disappeared after only a few days sampling the mountain air. We knew what to expect staying with Joan and Maurice as we were here 8yrs ago for 2 weeks in June when it was located across the road only this time, it’s part of their home Villa Innesfree so it was far better. They go the extra mile to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible by providing everything you could think of. Dougal their little dog likes to make you feel welcome. My laptop wouldn’t work so they kindly allowed me the use one of theirs which helped me keep in touch with my family. They are always at the ready with help and information but never impose on your privacy.
Sitting on the terrace every day in the hot sun just watching the world go by is the best feeling ever.The apartment has all the comforts you would want. Every window has a brilliant view. Beds are comfy, unlike the hard hotel ones. Loads of books, videos, games and of course SKY TV, even binoculars to take in the views.The kitchenette has everything you need, if like us, you want to cook. Of course if you don’t there’s some great restaurants in the village. The EROSKI supermarket has a butcher counter and is just up the road and the BP Garage at the bottom of the hill also caters for those little emergencies like bread, milk, tea, coffee, newspapers etc. You must visit the little church just near the donkey’s then walk around the many little streets and shops. I was able to pick the sweetest oranges I’ve every tasted from Joan's garden and made fresh juice [yes there’s even a juicer to use].
There's also lemon and avocados trees. The pool is not heated in January as stated but still looked very inviting for the brave when the temperatures get high. The Spa is like sitting in a lovely hot bath. The buses are brilliant, run every 20mins to the coast or further. I would definitely recommend anyone to come even at this time of the year. Hope to come back next year.
