Spacious and recently renovated to a high standard, this luxury penthouse apartment with good views to the tropical gardens, the mountains and the entrance to the marina. There are two private balconies on the east side to sit and breakfast in the morning sun, a spacious balcony on the west side for alfresco dining in the midday and evening. Roomy and bright with marble throughout, this apartment is designed to be lived in with all the fittings for entertaining. Private car park space in basement is accessed by lift from the door of the apartment.

The comfortable seating of the dining area allows for reading, watching TV or talking to your fellow guests.

The mature tropical garden is restful and tranquil for quiet reflection. Two pools for bathing. Gate access from the garden to the beach, where the restaurants allow for casual dining. This beach is very fashionable and a five minute walk along the beach brings you to the middle of the world famous Puerto Banus Marina.

Things to do in Marbella & Puerto Banus: There is a very good safari park near Estepona called Selwo. It is great for the children and the adults. They have lions tigers bears camels monkeys ostriches heffalumps camels and lots more. They are all in large areas and the animals roam free with plenty of room so that their living space is reasonably close to their natural environment. The visitors are brought around in trucks like army trucks with bench seats and the drivers and helpers make it a fun event for everyone. Both adults and children love the experience.

Fly Blue Catamaran from Marbella Marina: There is a great full day or half day cruise on a large catamaran from the marina in Marbella. The full day cruise has a stop with a BBQ and swim at a secluded beach with banana boat ride for those who are adventurous.

Shopping: World class shopping at Puerto Banus and Marbella. The Saudi Royal family come here for two months to holiday & shop every year, so why can't you?

All in all a great apartment just needs to make it more presentable by fixing a few small things, for the price asking. The location is perfect. The building is in a very good condition. Very good size living and bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen. The balconies are a real plus. Should modernise the sun beds, update the curtains, and install a larger TV so one can enjoy that now a lot of digital programs are available. David the owner was helpful and really quite nice. I can see that he is upgrading those things that are mentioned in the reviews. I will be returning.

Owner's Response: Thank you for this. The apartment is really lovely and cool in the hot weather. There is also good air-conditioning. It is on the top floor of a four storey house with only two apartments on each floor, so the lift comes to you immediately when you call for it. There are great views out over the entrance to the Puerto Banus Marina on the East side and out over the mature tropical gardens on the west side.
There are two pools surrounded by grass in the garden and the garden opens out onto the Blue Flag Swimming Beach. It is just a five minute walk to the busiest and best part of the Puerto Banus Marina. The apartment is in a quiet mature community with 24 hour security and only five minutes away from the best people watching spot in the Costa del Sol.

Really good stay

Having booked this months ago we were really excited to come and we were not let down. As private apartments go, you always suffer a little bit by not having a pool side bar etc but being so close to the beach and Marbella beach club makes up for that. As far as the apartment went, it was perfect and suited us for everything we need. The only negative thing i can honestly say is that we had a little bit of an issue getting onto the recommended wifi - but that was rectified. All in all, a great location, great apartment, great hands on landlord who went out of his way to ensure we had what we needed and I will 100% be booking to go back next year.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind comments. I invested in a 'free calls in Spain' phone & high speed Wi-Fi for the apartment last year. This can handle many devices.The Wi-Fi issue was totally my fault as I sent you the old code to the free community Wi-Fi which is not as good as it should be. I have checked with the current guests and the Wi-Fi is working very well.
The garden gate opens out onto the Blue Flag Swimming Beach with lots of good beach restaurants. We love Pedro's Beach Restaurant as do our guests. Other choices which are popular are Ocean Club Marbella, and Buddha Beach Restaurant all a few seconds walk from the garden gate.
The apartment is designed to be lived in so if you want a rest from your holiday you can stay a night at home and cook if you wish.

We never moved in …………….

At the check in day we had a text message in the morning from the owner that the cleaning of the condo was delayed until approx. 4pm witch was the check in time for the condo. We asked if we could come earlier to leave our luggage and it was ok.

We were met by a terrible mess in the condo so we realized that it was not just ok with an ordinary cleaning. The owner had not as agreed at reservation time in October 2013 painted the place and the furniture was in need to be replaced when dirty and in very poor condition. The curtains were very dirty and torn. The sheets were lying in a wrinkled lump.

One of the balcony doors nearly came loose from its hinge when we tried to open and at another balcony door we couldn’t open at all. So instead of moving in to this condo we had to make another arrangement.

We have been traveling around the world for many years and at many times hired private homes and we have always been lucky to meet clean and nice places so this was the first time we regrettably failed.

The Resort of Puerto Banus is world famous, This Andalucia del Mar apartment is right at the centre. The night life in Puerto Banus is a 24hour affair. This apartment is a haven of peace yet five minutes walk along the beach or the street to the restaurants and bars and the very expensive yachts. Fashion is king in Puerto Banus and all the famous designer houses have outlets here where you can spend as much as you dare. For the less extravagant there is the El Corte Ingles department store where they have everything including a hypermarket. King Fahd the late king of Saudi Arabia had a holiday home nearby where on his last trip to Puerto Banus his party reputedly spent €10Million per week in this store. There is a famous Sunday Market at the bull ring near the apartment where the most amazing bargains can be snapped up. The range of items on sale is enough to cater for every taste. They even sell good quality furniture on the pavement near the apartment during the Sunday Market.

Golf: This area has been changed to the Costa del Golf for obvious reasons.

This apartment was renovated two years ago and fitted out to a high standard. The master bedroom has a private balcony and a bathroom en-suite. There is a single bed which is stored away in the apartment which can be used in either bedroom if there are five people in the party. The second bedroom also has a private balcony facing east with views over the mouth of the marina.
