Modern & spacious apartment overlooking the Marina with stunning sea views

Stunning, South facing, air-conditioned apartment ideally situated on the 3rd floor thus providing great views but not too high for vertigo sufferers. Directly overlooking the beautiful Estepona Marina with the local tapas bars and restaurants within an easy 5 minute walk. Access is provided to 2 swimming pools. Two E.C. Blue Flag beaches are an easy 5 min walk away and Estepona old town with it's many beautiful tree lined plaza's is on the doorstep. The apartment has an open balcony, comfortably seating 4 people, providing panoramic views of Gibraltar, North Africa, the traditional white walled town and the lovely marina. Just perfect for people watching! The apartment is stunningly furnished having recently undergone a full refurbishment. It is comprehensively equipped with all you will need for a short break or long term stay. Our goal has been to provide a home from home for our guests, within one of the most beautiful, unspoiled and typically Spanish areas on the Costa del Sol.

Gibraltar: Only 35 minutes drive from Estepona (and on the local bus route), Gibraltar is a sunny, VAT-free haven where you can find duty free bargains from electronic equipment & jewellery to leather & perfumes & haggling is encouraged! Make sure you don't miss the spectacular natural caverns of St. Michael's Caves or visit the Ape's Den, home to some of Gibraltar's famous Barbary Apes, the only free-to-roam primates in Europe. Watch out for monkey business as they can be mischievous and have been known to pick the occasional pocket looking for treats.

The Dolphin Trip from the Marina is an excellent day out and very rarely are dolphins not seen.

Puerto Banus & Laguna Village: Puerto Banus is about 25 minutes drive away. It has a large number of designer stores including Versace and Armani. Perfect for millionaire spotting and you may also see a famous face or two in the port as a number of Hollywood stars have summer homes there.

Laguna Village is a stunning high class shopping experience just 10 minutes drive away. Whether spending an extravagant day at the beach club, shopping in the designer stores or spending time in the luxurious bars and restaurants then Laguna Village is the ideal place.

Selwo Safari Park: Only 20 minutes drive away and on the public transport route, Selwo is ideal for the perfect family day out. The park is based on an African safari park and houses 2000 animals from giraffes to panthers in semi-wild conditions. Like Jurassic Park, large open sided lorries drive you through the various animal enclosures and up into the hills above Estepona. There are elephants, bears, hippos and so much more to see. In the summer, cover up as it can get very hot and there is not much shelter.

Beautifully furnished in a lovely modern style this South facing one bedroom apartment provides the ideal holiday home from home. It is in a stunning location with all rooms benefiting from sea views. The apartment has recently undergone a full refurbishment to the highest standard, in a modern, yet extremely comfortable style including new double glazed windows, a new bathroom, a new tiled floor and all new fixtures and fittings including all furniture, linen, white goods and entertainment equipment. The apartment has two comfortable lounge areas thus providing more than ample space to spread out and relax. The main lounge area has a dining area for four people and also sofa seating for six around the TV fitted with over 30 UK and Spanish channels and a DVD player. The extended lounge area provides a further seating area for six overlooking the Marina. The open balcony provides seating for four people where you can sit in the sun and marvel at the sensational Marina and sea views.

We have been holidaying in Estepona since 1992 and in 2009 we were lucky enough to be able to leave Manchester and move to Spain. We have been letting guests stay in our apartments for over 10 years and like to think that we now know how to make our guests holidays a special experience; from the simple booking process, to providing detailed directions to the apartment, to the standard of the 'finish' of the apartments and the quality of the complementary welcome pack that we provide. It sounds easy but getting the little details just right is often the making of a stress free holiday.

Puerto Paraiso is ideally located overlooking the lovely Estepona Marina and has views to die for! From watching the beautiful sun rise in the morning, to people watching throughout the day it is often hard to tear yourself away from the balcony, but you must, as Estepona has such a lot to offer both in and around the Marina and also in the 'old town' which is an excellent example of a sea-side pueblo blanco.

The apartment is furnished with quality, modern and comfortable furniture and is well equipped with all you need to make this your holiday home from home. If you are in any doubt, refer to the review section; 10 years of 5 star rating is difficult to argue with.

The Puerto Paraiso complex is ideally situated in the heart of Estepona's thriving marina with a wide array of restaurants and tapas bars giving the area a truly Spanish feel whilst pleasantly avoiding the 'night club' culture sometimes suffered on the Costa del Sol. Within 5 minutes walk you will find two supermarkets, local shops and beautiful beaches with E.C. Blue Flag status (awarded for cleanliness and safety). Our favourite, Cristo Beach, is a delightful oyster-shaped cove of sheltered, gently shelving sand, ideal for children and is only 5 minutes walk away (250m). In high season the beaches are manned by lifeguards and all have well maintained toilet and shower facilities and a choice of beachfront, traditional, Spanish restaurants (chiringuitos) making it ideal for a family day out. Estepona, due to its natural environment, surrounded by the sea and Sierra Bermeja mountains, enjoys its own micro climate providing over 325 days of sunshine per year and lovely mild winters.

    Payment Terms: To secure a booking a non returnable deposit of £100 (or 100 Euro) per full or part week is required. This reduces the balance detailed in the table above by 100 Euro. The balance in Euro is payable upon arrival together with a security deposit of 150 Euro (or £150) which is returned less the cost of any breakages or damage upon departure.

  • Winter Discounts: From 1st November to 31st March the following discounts apply:

    - 2 week bookings are discounted by 15%

  • The main bedroom comprises of a large & extremely comfortable double bed. It has fitted wardrobes thus providing plentiful storage and also has a ceiling fan to keep you cool even on the hottest days. As it overlooks the marina it also provides amazing sea views. To avoid any noise during the local fiesta's, 2 sets of double glazing and a storm shutter is fitted. There is a further double sofa-bed in the enclosed balcony / lounge area so families of 2 adults and 2 children can easily be accommodated. All towels and linen is provided.

Excellent holiday - looking forward to returning.

We spent 5 weeks during February-March 2011 in Andy and Beata's apartment in Estepona.

Andy explained that they had tried to create a "wow" factor when guests first entered the apartment and with the recent make-over the apartment certainly provides that.

During our stay in Estepona we had the opportunity of looking at several other apartments and only one other met a similar standard (and that was a larger apartment also owned by A&B)

The apartment is furnished in a modern style with great views (great waking up in the morning to the sun coming in the bedroom window) All areas are well equiped.There are a number of stores within 2 mins walking distance for food/drink etc.

The balcony is a joy where on most mornings we had breakfast in the sun..It was the perfect place to people watch as it not only overlooks the Marina but also many of the bars and restaurants that make the Marina the vibrant place it is.

We would often stay on the balcony in the morning enjoying the sun then venture out in the afternoon to have lunch ,walk along the Paseo Maritimo with the blue sea on one side and a fantastic display of succulants on the other or stroll along the Marina or beach.

The "Old Town" is superb and offers a real glimse of what Estepona was in the past.There are several squares to visit and stop in for a cooling drink.

The range of restaurants and bars is good with a good selection of Tapas bars to try (highly recommended). Estepona is still a vibrant fishing port with many excellent fish restaurants in the area.We would recommend El Pescador on the Paseo Maritimo, El Cazador in the Marina and La Escollera in the port. We had our laptop with us and found De La Mar,near the apartment a good place to visit for free WiFi along with great food and drink and really nice staff.

Estepona is the sort of place you can quite happily visit without doing any day trips but should you want to go to Gibraltar,Malaga or Peurto Banus public transport is available with a bus service from Estepona.

We thoroughly enjoyed our five weeks in A&B's apartment, so much so that we have booked 5 weeks next year.We would have returned for a month in October had the apartment been available.

We had the pleasure of meeting Andy and Beata several times.There is no doubt that they care about their guests and go to great lengths to ensure the apartment meets all expectations.

We look forward to returning.

Easter in estepona

Just back from a wonderful Easter break in Estepona. The apartment is exactly as described great location at entrance to marina and supermarket outside the front door. We really enjoyed the Easter processions that took place every nite in the town and the fantastic atmosphere in the narrow streets. We were a bit unlucky with the weather but were able to walk the prom every morning and have breakfast along the sea front looking across to Gibraltar. We drove up thr mountains to Rhonda and down the coast to tariffe really very scenic drives. The apartment was spotless and really well equipped and Sue with the welcome pack was there at the appointed time to meet us when we arrived .the entire booking process with Andy was very simple and Andys information pack and list of restaurants was a great help just had not enough time to try them all. For a special night out I would recommend Robbies bit expensive but worth going once on your holiday try there prawns Judy garland. We had a wonderful break and looking forward to staying longer on our next visit.

we booked Andy and Beata`s apartment for 4 weeks . EVERYTHING about it was excellent .Spacious ,airy ,well appointed ,clean ,modern to name a few .The location ,right next to the marina , was brilliant and it was good to be in walking distance of a large number of bars and restaurant catering for all tastes and budgets ( that said ,none of them were expensive by UK standards )

we divided our time between the inevitable days on the beach ( La Rada is a huge beach with lots of space so that was our preference ) + sauntering and lunching in Estepona town which is a lovely ,friendly and 99% Spanish working town ( so you just dont get the " Shepherds Pie ,Rovers Return ,British home cooking " crowd ).In the evenings we mostly took the 2 minute drive into town for drinks and and a lovely dinner . It was European Championship time so it was "lively" but with families and older people all blending in it was never rowdy . A brilliant atmosphere

we also used the apartment as a base to go to other places ...Seville ,Cordoba ,Antequera ,Jerez ,Malaga ,Nerja . We enjoyed them all .

we had a quick " courtesy " visit from Andy and Beata early in our holiday and it was good to meet them . Very nice people ,very re- assuring to know you are renting from them .

the apartment is in a block ( one of 4 ) called Puerto Paraiso .It was quiet and well maintained . There are 2 pools which we used once or twice early in our trip. The pools have a few sunbeds that might need to be replaced soon but they were a good place to get acclimatised to the glorious weather we enjoyed for the entire month

we might well go back to this area ( possibly not just yet as we explored it to the maximum )and if we do we will DEFINITELY look to rent this apartment again .

i thoroughly recommend it - go if you can

We take every effort to make sure that the apartment is just as it should be upon arrival, and during the stay and it is a huge satisfaction when we hear the we are hitting the right mark.

We have been visiting Estepona for many years and have been lucky enough to live here for over 2 years now (July 2012) and we think it has a huge amount to offer travellers of every description and it is great to receive positive comments.

We really enjoyed the time in your appartment. Everything ist like the webside discribes. Very clean and tastful furnisching. The nice things in the refrigerator were a good welcome. Thanks. Sue picked us up and everything was fine.
We went for good Fisch, Tapas and more to the restaurant La Escollera,Puerto Pesquero, at the habour near the ice factory. It is really great, not expensive and only 5Min. walking.
We made trips to the Alhambra - you have to go there- and to Ronda, Gibraltar and Tarifa - beautiful beaches and kitesurfer- everything is not far away.
The only thing that was not so nice .... in July is Feria and it is around this time very busy in the marina. The bars transform into discos and between 00.00 and 4 am it is very noisy, you feel the bass in your bed. You are only abel to sleep with closed windows and air condition.

We spent a nice time with our two teenagers there and the bed in the livingroom was for the girls ok.

So you can spent there a very good time.

Estepona is a superb center for exploring Spain and all of the places mentioned are well worth a visit and easy to get to either by car or public transport. It is also a superb location for just kicking back and relaxing in the sun!

The Feria lasts for 3 days in July and is an occasion where all of Estepona unites in a very family friendly party atmosphere. It is something very special to experience and offers a unique and often humerous insite in to how the Spanish "let there hair down". We have recognised in prior years that it can be a sometimes noisy spectacle and we have therefore fitted 2 lots of double glazing in the bedroom as well as a storm shutter.
