There is a small private pool and an outside shower at the rear of the house. iMbabala is an eco estate with many buck and other animals living in the surrounding forest. It borders Selborne Golf course with its many amenities and is home to the Ladies Open Golf championship in July 2012. The villa is 3 min from Pennington and 12 minutes from Scottburgh, both with superb beaches. A daily maid service is included.
KwaZulu Natal has one of the best climates in the world. The summer are hot and sunny and the winters are mild and sunny. The rainfalls mainly in the summer.
iMbabala is situated next to the village of Pennington which has a couple of supermarkets, chemist. bottle store and a few cafes and bars. The beach in enormous and you can hear the waves crashing onto the shore at night from the bedrooms. Next door to iMbabala in the stunningly beautiful Selborne Golf course which will be featured at the ladies world open championship this July. Just a few minutes away is the Umdoni golf course (which used to be the presidents course) which has amazing views of the indian ocean and the forest. It is a very challenging course. There are many more top class courses close by.
Rocky Bay, only 8 minutes away, has a small beach from which you can do shark cage diving.
Scottburgh is the nearest town, about a 12 minute drive. There you have all the main shops and supermarkets, and the beach is very safe for children. There is also a crocodile farm which has one of the worlds largest (and oldest) crocs called Colgate
.Umomaas ( 20 minutes) is the place to go for scuba diving as the Aliwal Shoal Reef is just a few kilometres off shore.
Amanzimtoti, a 30 minute drive, has a large shopping mall, with cinemas restaurants and entertainment.
Durban, a 40 minute drive, has markets, restaurants, shops, shopping malls and a huge water park at Ushaka, with an aquarium. Also there are botanical gardens in the centre of the town.
The majestic Drakensburg mountains are a 2 hour drive through the lovely Natal countryside.
There are several nature reserves and smaller game parks nearby .
