Spacious apartment with lovely views of the gardens and pool from the balcony

A most attractive and spacious south facing first floor apartment with lift in a low rise prestigious complex, within easy reach of the port and Arenal beach, and a two minute walk to a large well stocked supermarket. The apartment has a large bright and airy lounge/dining room with triple opening doors that lead out onto a lovely south facing balcony with a table and chairs and retractable sun canopy which overlooks the truly delightful private manicured gardens with tropical trees and shrubs making it the perfect place for long hours of relaxation in the sun or shade. There is a large swimming pool with a shallow section for children. There are two twin bedrooms one that leads out onto the balcony, both with fitted wardrobes. A fully equipped modern fitted kitchen and bathroom with a shower over the bath. The lounge and both bedrooms have ceiling fans, and there is gas central heating for the cooler months.

Javea: Best known for its unspoilt beauty and excellent blue flag beaches. It is split into three main areas, the port is a traditional fishing port with intimate cobbled streets a brightly lit promenade of restaurants and bars and a pebble beach where you can enjoy a day full of water activities such as: water sking, jet skiing, snorkeling and windsurfing. The medieval old town lies inland above the port with its cobbled streets and beautiful church in the centre. It is a typical spanish town relatively unspoilt with a quiet and relaxing ambience, it has many traditional 'Tapas Bars' and a weekly market where you can buy wonderful fresh produce as well as numerous traditional market stalls. The Arenal has a picturesque palm tree lined crescent shaped sandy beach and promenade with a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars to suit every taste and pocket, with no road in-between. In the summer months there is a small fun fair for children with rides, trampolines and go-carting.

Nearby Areas of Interest and Tourist Attractions: Javea is around 40 minutes drive by car to Benidorm, which has many attractions to suit all ages including 'Mundomar' an animal water park, 'Aqualandia' a theme swimming park' and 'Terra Mitica' a Disney type park boasting some of the largest rides in Europe. The beautiful village of Guadalest which is built into the mountains should not be missed along with the 'Waterfalls of Algar'. Other nearby coastal towns include Moriara with beautiful sandy coves and varied entertainment, Denia is a shoppers paradise with its large port, Marina, long golden beach, and pavement cafes offering daily trips to the Baleric Islands and Calpe with its legendary 'Calpe Rock' jutting out of the sea.

Nearby Golf Courses: Javea has its own Club de Golf Javea with 9 holes and there is also Golf de Club Ifach Moraira again with 9 holes.

A little further away there is Club de Golf La Sella in Denia with 18 holes and the famous Seve Ballesteros Club de Golf Olivia again with 18 holes.

Javea has a lovely blue flag sandy beach, a good selection of bars restaurants and shops and although a cosmopolitan resort it still remains very Spanish without any high rise package tour hotels in sight. The apartment is situated in an ideal location, central but quiet with the Arenal beach in one direction and the bustling port in the other, both are within easy walking distance. It is a 1 hour drive from Alicante or Valencia airport. Javea is sheltered by Mount Mongo and enjoys a subtropical Mediterranean climate with cool sea breezes in the summer and mild temperatures in the winter. The region averages around 3,000 hours of sunshine a year (about 325 days per year) and the average temperature is over 20 degrees centigrade.

Notes

  • Long winter lets are available from October - April at reduced rates. Prices and details are available on request. For bookings of more than one week there will be a change of bed linen and towels available in the apartment. A travel cot can be hired for 20 pounds a week. Cot linen to be provided by yourselves. A 25% non refundable deposit is required, with the balance payable in full eight weeks before your holiday start date. Return transfers from Alicante or Valencia airport can be arranged if you do not wish to hire a car. There is a large supermaket a 2 minute walk away and bars, restaurants and the beach are all within walking distance from the apartment. For larger groups wishing to holiday together there is another two bedroomed apartment available on this complex. We do not charge for a final clean but would expect the apartment to be left clean and tidy.

Guests may wish to bring their own dvd's to play although they can be hired locally. Property cleaned between lets. Fresh bed linen supplied weekly. We had a fantastic five weeks in this lovely apartment. The apartment has everthing you need for a perfect stay and there is a Spanish supermarket across the road which is cheap also if you want English food and papers there is an Iceland supermarket two minutes aroud the corner. We had a great time sitting on the balcony which has the sun on it all day this looks on to a well maintained garden and large swimming pool. we will definately be returning to the wonderful apartment

A WONDERFUL APARTMENT!

We had two very enjoyable weeks here, so much so that we are arranging to re-visit in 2013.

The pool is very good and convenient. More often than not we had it to ourselves.
The gardens are very well maintained and tidy.

The beach is very handy too and there are plenty of bars to have a coffee from during the day.

There is a very handy Mercadona supermarket a short walk away.

We did have a car but could easily have managed without one. Again there is ample car parking.

The location is excellent for evenings too. It's a short walk to what is known as the port area (the harbour serves mainly pleasure craft) where there are many restaurants and ice cream parlours. Also the Arenal is about 15/20 minutes walk away.

The apartment was already lovely and now we've been informed by the owners that they have improved the bathroom and other facilities.

Can't wait for July!

Easter in Javea

We thoroughly enjoyed our five day break in Javier over Easter. Customer service was excellent, with prompt and helpful replies from Val to all of our emails.
Val’s apartment, which is in a well-kept, secure complex, overlooks a pretty pool area with palm trees. Being early season, the pool was not in use but this didn’t matter to us. Had we wanted to swim, the large, sandy, Arenal beach is only a 15 minute stroll along the seafront.
The apartment is very clean, modern and comfortably-furnished with a well-equipped kitchen. As the weather was pleasantly warm, we were able to relax on the balcony where the sun shone all day – most days! It was very peaceful, as many apartments on the complex weren’t occupied during that time.
There are many restaurants and bars within walking distance of the apartment and a good Mercadona just down the road where you can buy whatever you want – some lovely fresh fish, in particular.
The apartment is ideally-situated in a residential area, a couple of minutes from the seafront, from where you can walk one way to the old town and port, or the other way to the newer,’ beach’ end of Javier, where there are even more shops, bars and restaurants - a very lively scene to suit all ages! We also drove up the coast to Denia (stopping off to look down over Javea from the windmills on the hill) and also down the coast where there are some amazing viewpoints such as the Caba de Nao.
We returned home relaxed and refreshed after our break. It’s an area we will visit again soon and we can certainly recommend Val’s place to anyone who likes a relaxing holiday with plenty to see and do within close proximity.

enjoyed lovely relaxing holiday at this apartment,well situated for all amenities that the lovely town of Javea has to offer.Immaculate pool area and gardens,apartment was clean,spacious and equipped with everything you could need for the perfect holiday!.Being able to book direct with Val the owner was also a big advantage.We loved this apartment so much that we have already re-booked for next summer!. A very nice appartment with all the luxury in it. Great located near by the port of Javea with it's nice boulevard. But also not far away from the bigger boulevard, with the cosy night life.
Around Javea there is a lot to see.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Families with Young Children
