Seacoast New Hampshire in the United States is a fantastic area to spend a holiday with many things for visitors to do. Located in the north east of the country this area offers wonderful scenery all around. The Seacoast area has many beautiful and interesting places to visit including the city of Portsmouth. Here visitors can go to Strawberry Banke, which is an interactive historical exhibit and museum. Also worth visiting in Portsmouth are the USS Albacore Museum and Park and the Harbour Lighthouse as well as the many historic houses. Hampton is another interesting city in the region where tourists can visit the Tuck Museum and James House amongst other sights. Just over an hour away and across the state line into Massachusetts is the fabulous city of Boston. Popular sights here include the Museum of Fine Arts, the Cathedral of the Holy Cross and Boston Children’s Museum.
June, July and August are the warmest months in this part of New Hampshire with an average high of around 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures in January and February can dip as low as 5 degrees Fahrenheit but average out at about 20. The rainfall across the year is quite even with an average of about 2 inches in February to a highest of 3.6 inches in august.
Logan International Airport in Boston Massachusetts is approximately one hour and 10 minute’s drive from Seacoast New Hampshire and has numerous flights to and from international cities. These include Amsterdam (AMS), Dublin (DUB), Frankfurt (FRA), London-Heathrow (LHW), Madrid (MAD), Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Rome-Fiumicino (FCO), Toronto-Pearson (YYZ), and Zurich (ZRH) as well as many other U.S cities.
